Our Mat classes cater for groups of up to 8 clients. Offering physical and mental training, Mat Pilates works on body awareness, core strength and postural alignment.

Our classes range from Fundamentals to Advanced; and we aim to progress clients as quickly and safely as possible on to more challenging movements.

In Mat classes we progressively towards the classical method, developed by Joseph Pilates. The programme we teach is adapted from the ‘classical’ exercises so they are accessible to all, not just dancers or gymnasts.

To get the full benefits of Pilates, these classical exercises are broken down to establish good movement skills thus building the best possible foundation upon which to progress towards the classical, more advanced work.
